What is Memory Care?
Memory care is a type of caregiver service tailored to residents with memory illnesses or issues, such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, cognitive impairment, or other related conditions.
What type of care is given for resident's with memory issues?
Residents in memory care are under consistent supervision by staff to ensure they do not wander or leave the premises. Staff also engage with residents to monitor the progression of issues, consult with professionals, and inform the family of any changes or situations that may arise.
What are the dangers of caring for a person with memory issues?
Memory issues can cause a person to wander or leave the care facility, and may lead to confusion or anxiety. Memory loss can also result in hostility in certain situations. We work to prevent such incidents, and if they occur, we ensure any issues are addressed promptly and the resident remains safe.

More About Memory Care
Memory care can be challenging for caregivers, as activities like eating, drinking, or socializing can become more stressful for everyone involved, depending on the severity of the condition.
Some memory illnesses gradually strip residents of their ability to perform basic functions, such as breathing. These are known as degenerative diseases and often require medical intervention as they progress.
